(More customer reviews)I purchased this item on clearance from Target a few months ago to power my Canon PowerShot camera. No matter how long you leave the batteries charging (I've been leaving them in for 24 hours, as is called out in the instructions), the red "charging" light on the front of the unit never turns off. Meaning that it hasn't completed the charging cycle. The result is a charge that lasts no more than a few minutes. When I put the [seemingly] fully charged batteries into the camera, it's already reporting the battery level as being near empty.
I don't know whether the batch of units I purchased from was bad, or if the product design is defective. So if you're going to purchase this item, my suggestion would be to double-check the return policy, and to hold on to your receipt.
