Rosewill RGD-CT505 Battery Charger for AAA/AA Alkaline and Ni-MH Batteries(battery not included) Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)"Never charge the regular batteries or else." This charger made me rethink the statement. Originally got it for "regular" rechargeable batteries and was hesitant to try charging plain alkaline batteries. After reading the instructions, plugged it in next to my desk to keep an eye on it. Few hours later got a set of four charged betteries. Recycle batteries through your local recycling center or just use this neat gadget.

Note of caution: Equally discharged pairs of batteries work fine. Intermixing batteries with different charge level will make them leak. Battery with lesser charge will leak as the stronger battery will transfer energy to the weaker. This goes for mixing any kinds of batteries though.
My unscientific method of measuring recharged capacity by amount of time they run in flashlights is about two thirds of full capacity.
Still think it is worth it.
