Cell Phone Charger-dynamo with 14 Adapters, No Batteries Required, Mobile Phone Charger Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)My Motorola Cell phone is very 'finicky' when it comes to battery charging 'in the phone with a 3rd party device' but not this one. It works great. I had a new battery that I ran down and after a lot of cranking I got another bar on the battery indicator.
It's for emergency and do not expect to completely charge the battery. In use you would crank it for 5 min and have about 5 min (depends on how your phone is set up) 5 min of emergency talk time. Since you're charging the phone battery you should be able to take a break. I would have the phone 'OFF' so all the charge went to the battery. I would hate to crank this for 5 to 10 min then have a 'spammer' call me using up battery power.
I do NOT understand why the cranking LED is red. Personally I would prefer white and if really desperate have a crank flashlight to use as well as a phone charger.
It works and fits in a small palm.
The BEST safety is to have a spare charged battery but this does work.

A cell phone can be a life saver. Do not be caught with a dead battery in an emergency. This Dyanamo charger will charge any cell phone with the proper adapter, and it includes enough adapters for almost any cell phone. Includes 14 mobile phone adapters!!! Motorola, LG, Nextel, Sony, Ericsson, iPod, Nokia, Samsung and Siemens. The charger has over-load protection and a 6 voltage limitation. This is too prevent damage to cell phones. There can be a limitation with some cell phones that require more than 6 volts to charge, but we offer a money back guarantee if you buy the charger and it does not work with your cell phone. Please note that the iPhone voltage requirements are too high for this device. The charger will charge iPods, but does not work with the iPhone. 1 minute of charging at 120 rpm gives 1-2 minutes of talk time.
