(More customer reviews)This is my third power cord. The one that came with my HP Compaq 6710b started having problems long ago and had to be retired. I ordered a third party replacement that ran VERY hot and towards the end started making a very disturbing popping sound. I was hesitant to order another HP cord but the first one took much more abuse than the second, so I figured I'd stick to what gave me the best results. This one is working fine and hasn't presented any "quirks" that I've come to expect from these cords.
