(More customer reviews)I bought one of these adapters, it was bad from the start, they sent me another one free, didn't even have to ship the other one back. (this is a clue)
It lasted for about 5 months then started resetting when recharging the battery. Every 20 seconds it would shutoff for a second
and come back on, causing all the "power smart" plug-n-play hardware in the laptop to display a message about being on battery power.
Even when it worked I was afraid the thing would burst into flames it got so hot.
Also the laptop would get super hot while using this adapter. A sign of not enough power.
This company has changed their name since then and will not answer my emails, I guess if the company no longer exists, then the guarantee no longer exists either. Amazon is allowing these companies to rob people and then run and hide.
I have since purchased REAL HP equipment, and bought the 135 watt adapter that comes with the Docking Station. I recommend staying away from these
sub-level factory seconds. The laptop complained about the power adapter with a message:
