(More customer reviews)I got this because I have several mobile devices that will often go dead while I'm on the bus or something like that. This had the tips I needed for my two devices and more. The form factor was OK but I didn't like having to swap out the tips, I was worried I'd lose them all the time. One good use for this product is that I've noticed other cell phone tip chargers and so on either use the bottom plug-in tip like this one, or a thinner tip. I was able to take some of these tips and use them on Gaiam Solar Powered Cell Phone Charger, which doesn't come with many tips and if you try to get more, you'll pay a bunch. If you have any charger that takes these fat tips, you can buy this pack for the price of maybe one or two tips and have them be compatible.
The reason I ended up not using this is that I would always forget to turn the on switch off and the batteries would die. I also lost the back battery cover.
I would suggest the following setup as a alternative to this charger kit: go assemble a MintyBoost 3.0 Kit and get something like Adapti 5 in 1 Multi-function USB Charging Data Cable for iPhone and IPod, Mini and Micro USB Cell Phones, Sony PSP, Nintendo Disc, Disc XL and DS Lite. The MintyBoost looks cool, is fun to assemble, and has much better compatibility with iPhones and so on. In addition the multi-tip adapter will not get lost as easily as 10 separate tips. It also doesn't have an on or off switch so it never drains - it only drains when a device is plugged in.
