(More customer reviews)I own a Sony HDR SR11 camcorder which comes with a sony 60H battery. When fully charged the 60H shows 96min of recording time. I purchased this Power 2000 ACD 747 battery from JR.com believing the salesperson's claim that this was the 'same' battery as the sony 100H without the upcharge for the sony name. When I received the battery, I fully charged it and was ecstatic to see that the infolithium reading showed 328 minutes. However, I noticed another review on Amazon warning about the misleading battery meter on generic battery brands. So, I used my digital oven timer to test the accuracy of both the Sony and Power 2000 battery meters. I found that 1 minute of the Sony battery actually provided 1 minute and 4 seconds of battery life. On the other hand, 1 minute of the Power 2000 battery only provided 34 SECONDS of battery life. Which means that the 328 minute claim is in fact about 164 minutes of real-time use (on standby mode with LCD open) compared to about 100 minutes from the Sony 60H. [...] All in all, I think I got what I paid for. However, I am disappointed because I initially thought that I made a 'smart' decision and got the benefit of Sony quality at a bargain price. We'll see if I keep this battery or return it.
