(More customer reviews)A couple of years ago I had a Nokia phone that wouldn't hold a charge - the battery life was just pretty awful. I saw this Energizer Energi-to-go at a store, and grabbed it thinking I'd just solved the solution to the problem I had with my phone's battery.
When I got home I inserted batteries into the device, and plugged it into my phone. It charged my phone as it's supposed to do, BUT one charge and the batteries were spent! Thinking it might have been the batteries, I tried again, but the same thing happened - no juice left in the batteries after I charged my phone. I didn't have rechargeable batteries at the time, and not wanting to waste batteries, I just tossed the thing into our "junk drawer". We did purchase rechargeable batteries after that - for other electronics, but when I tried them in the Energi-to-go, they wouldn't even fully charge my phone. I'm not sure if it was the fault of the batteries, or the fault of the Energi-to-go, but I lean a little more toward it being the fault of the Energizer product because our rechargeable batteries seem to work pretty well on anything else we use them in.
The Energizer Energi-to-go was over $10 at the time I purchased it, and I hate to feel ripped off. IMO, this is a rip-off, and I felt bad that I wasted the money. Unfortunately, it wasn't returnable because it was over 30 days before I tried to return it. My fault.
This is not a product I'd recommend. It doesn't make sense to purchase something that ends up costing you a lot more, and doesn't charge your phone more than once. I feel much better having a wall charger and a car charger. The prices on charger packages is so good these days that you can have 2 wall chargers and 2 car chargers cheaper than buying one Energi-to-go. Hope this review is helpful to someone out there who might be considering this product.
