It was advertised as a replacement for the above adapter but didn't work with any of our HP laptops using that model (Compaq 6710b, Compaq nx7400).
Despite the fact that it worked with a Dell Inspiron 1501, the adapter is too big for mobile users: 6.5" x 2.5" x 1.5".
