(More customer reviews)This is a good idea and the product appears to be charging only it doesn't. If you plug it in when there is a charge it actually drains the GPS's battery and I think has harmed the ability of the unit to hold a charge. I now get very little use out of my Garmin battery (it is a new unit). I would not buy this and risk damaging your GPS.
