(More customer reviews)This is inexpensive for a reason. The first one I received was split at the seams so the electrical workings could be seen. The seller Osprey Talon was very helpful and promptly sent me a replacement. The replacement is OK because they used more glue on the seams. The quality is still lower than the original HP adapter; where at least the seams snapped together securely, with more than just glue. Get the original HP if you can afford it.
UPDATE: I have had the replacement for a couple weeks and it is falling apart at the seam (like the first one) and the sheathing is pulling away on the cord. This product is unsafe; a potential electrical disaster. I am not "hard" on these things, they are just really poor quality. Look at the customer images.
