(More customer reviews)I purchased this to power the Garmin 705 on events that last over 8 hours. It is a shame that the Garmin battery is SO WEAK! On the first event a 400K rondo I used velcro to strap this to the bars next to the Garmin. This is shiped with a VERY short cable so I lost a lot of handelbar space. With just one battery the garmin kept running however it did not have enought power to charge the Garmin while it was in use. For my next event a 600K rondo I purchased the Enegizer with two batteries. This did a little better at leting the Garmin run and get charged at the same time. The Energizer also had a short cable so I need to get something else worked out to handle the short cable issue. It is a shame that Garmin can not come up with a product to deal with this issue. I have see one other person with a dynmo front hub do a power take off and run this through some type of converter and into the Garmin and NEVER lose power even when they are runing the night lights.
