(More customer reviews)The good news: it looks slick sitting on the end of my lenses. The bad news: I'm out of good news. It's definitely constructed in a cheaper manner than the Canon model. I've yet to take a picture that wasn't blasted by too much light from this flash. I'd definitely recommend against this flash for any macro or closeup shooting. Taking pictures from a distance produces better results, but nothing remarkably better than the built in flash on my 7D.
If I had it all to do over again, I'd likely not purchase this flash. I'd either roll the dice on another knock off, or I'd just cough up the dough for the real deal.
