(More customer reviews)I just received this player and tested it at my car. There is no problem with the volume as some other reviewers mentioned! Of course, you should turn the volume on the player a little high (more than 1) to get a good sound. I also tried to reverse play the tape (converter) to see what happens. In that case, no sound was heared.
Regarding the beep sound, based on the instruction manual, if you hold "stop" button and then plug it in the power or put the batteries, the beep sound would be eliminated. However, note that you should put batteries in the player (before putting, press "stop" to cut the beep sound) to save your setting (like CD volume, the track it is playing, beep sound and ...) on the player. So if you turn off your car, it doesn't reset and you won't have to adjust the setting again. I wish sometime the reviewers make their statement with knowledge to not mislead people.
