I'm building a karaoke system and got these for the price and have been very, very pleased with them. I saw a couple of 'bad' reviews here but after almost a year, they are still performing beyond my expectations. If I had to say anything negative about them it would only be mild.. they seem to be sensitive and pick up the sound of being handled (ie: picked up, put down, being placed in a mic clip) But holding them or moving from one hand to the other doesn't present any problems. As for the guy with the battery problems, I've been using the same rechargeable batteries since the day I got them. Rechargeables just don't last like regular battaries but if you keep these mics in the charger when there not in use, you can use them all night long... What else can I say, you can get better mics for more money but if all you need is a good basic well constructed good sounding mic, you can't go wrong with these. My only regret is I didn't buy a 4 mic system!!

This is a dual channel wireless microphone system designed and engineered for professional performance and home karaoke use as well. It's a very cost-effective unit compared with some other wireless microphones you may find elsewhere, best of all, this unit comes with an internal battery charger which will automatically charges the batteries in the transmitters while they are not in use and in the charging position, so you will never have to worry about replacing the batteries in the middle of your performance. Each transmitter powers on two piece of AA batteries that can last 5-7 hours if fully charged, unlike Nickel-Cadmium batteries, these high-capacity NiMH batteries have no memory effect at all, and can be recharged hundreds of times, it will save you a big sum of money in the long run. Additionally, the system has one standard 1/4" mixed output and two balanced XLR outputs, one for each channel. This system comes with four different frequency sets, which mean you can have up to 4 systems / 8 microphones work at the same time without interference from each other.Main Specifications:Power source: 120/220 V, 50/60 Hz selectable; Operating Frequency:170 MHz to 260 MHz; Frequency variation: 70 dB;Image Rejection: >70 dB;Transmission range: 300 feet.
