(More customer reviews)I bought a Samsung camera way back when, and I found it to be highly unreliable. It wouldn't always turn on, and the batteries would die out quickly. I've tried alkaline and NiMH AA battereies (at 2500 mAh, highest I could find), and the results were the same. Then I read somewhere that most digital cameras required consistent voltage to function properly, which only Li-ion batteries could do. You can spend about 10 bucks for a disposable Li-ion battery, or spend 15 dollars more for the Lenmar model which you can use over and over again. The only other brands that I found that manufactured rechargable Li-ion CRV-3's were Samsung and Digipower. They both go for around 45 dollars, and the Digipower model has a lower mAh (1100) compared to the Lenmar.
It's been a week already, and my camera is still going strong on the same charge. Before, it wouldn't even last more than 30 minutes before pooping out on me.
I haven't had any problems using or charging the battery like the other reviewer. I'm sure he just got a defective charger with his order. Anyways, my only complaint is the lack of documentation with the packaging. Not that you really need it to operate the charger. Otherwise, it's a no-brainer purchase.
