(More customer reviews)Well, it's a decent charger. It holds one battery at a time, and a sliding spring-loaded metal piece holds different-sized cells in place. I tried with a few different cells, and they all stay put. The charger is a fold-down two-prong instead of three-prong (this is good) for your wall outlet. A green light comes on to show that it's powered up, and then changed to red when a battery is inserted. I haven't seen a change in color (or maybe I didn't charge it long enough) when the battery is fully charged though. It does what it's supposed to: it charges lithium ion batteries one at a time. I haven't noticed any heating up of the charger when in use. When I dropped it from waist height, a piece of the plastic chipped off and remains lost. This didn't affect the function, but it's not a durable plastic.
The battery itself works as advertised, and I don't really have much to say about it. It's "unprotected" meaning that if you discharge it fully and then try to recharge it asnd leave it on the charger for too long, you could short the battery or make it burst. Don't leave it charging for longer than two hours.
This is the most inexpensive, yet effective way of getting both a lithium ion charger and battery out there. The 14500 cell is the same size as a AA battery, just so you know.
