(More customer reviews)Its a nice and compact unit, and being able to use it in the car is a definite plus. Despite all the electronic gabbedigook circuit control features, charging of the 9V batteries is hit and miss: The unit will NOT shut off if the battery is fully charged. Two of the four channels for AA and AAA batteries do not work correctly. A few minutes after inserting four dead batteries, two of the channels indicate the batteries are fully charged, and the other two go on for hours. But when I switch positions of the batteries, they charge again for hours. Obviously something in the control circuit is not quite right here!
