(More customer reviews)While it's a nice little charger to have handy when you need some emergency juice, I haven't found batteries that can keep up with the pull of a Palm Pre. The Palm Pre is rated to suck in 1 amp from the wall charger, but this little device is only rated at 500ma output. Thus, you end up with batteries that "die" quick, but when you unplug the Palm Pre the chemical reactions catch up and the batteries regain some charge. It's an interesting effect, but very annoying to say the least. I think that they should probably not advertise it as a back up charger for the Palm Pixi/Pre because it's technically not rated to effectively charge them. It has still helped me out in a crunch now and then though.
