I have a mouse that eats batteries in two days, but my rayovacs actually outlast non-rechargeables and so far have been recharged about 50 times each without issue. I've used the competitors products and been far less impressed, this includes the old rechargeable alkalines and the newer versions. These, as well as the rayovac 15 minutes c3 rechargeables really do the job for cameras and handheld electronics. You can pair these with one of those emergency cell phone chargers to get extra talk time on trips.
One note, they aren't as great for long term products like smoke alarms etc., they lose some charge just sitting around. I only get about 6-12 months between charges with my TV remote. Still, I haven't bought a new battery in 5 years. I just keeping cycling through the dozen of these I own.
