What this product does, (and how it is described) is extend the charge of your phone when your charge level gets low. It will not recharge your phone. When you unplug your phone after several hours of use beyond what you would normally have gotten without the extender, the charge level will be close to or at the same level as when you plugged it in. It will not be at a higher charge leve.
