318AF Digital Slave Flash For Use For The Nikon D40, D40X, D60 Digital SLR Cameras Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This is no Nikon SB600, so don't think you're getting that quality or performance from a unit like this. That being said, it works great as a slave flash for off-camera fill light, and the switch that lets you select the mode for counting the "pre-flashes" works without a problem. It has enough power to work in a home size room, but wouldn't be much use in a cathedral. I have also had some issues triggering the optical sensor when used outdoors in sunlight, but indoors have no problem with that. I now own a couple of these which I trigger with a cheap radio flash trigger set that I bought from a famous on-line auction site. Works great, just don't expect pro quality. I'm very pleased with what I got for the price, though I still will probably buy a Nikon unit someday.

The flash comes complete with a bracket. It has a hot shoe so that it can be fired from the camera too. It is fully synchronized with fill-in flash and red-eye reduction flash and can be used with virtually all of the digital cameras on the market. It works as a slave. It can be set for a single flash camera or a pre-flash camera.
