My colleague is buying one for videoing supervised therapy sessions in her office (with the written consent of her clients, of course) as it is so unobtrusive compared to a big tripod in the room, and she can get great angles by clamping to her bookcases. I like using it with my camcorder and remote to take video of our baby girl that actually includes me! At the beach, I found a stick of bamboo, shoved it deep in the sand and clamped to that--so cool. I'm already planning to buy more as gifts.
On top of the great product, shipping was the fastest I've experienced, although that's largely due to the fact that it came from very nearby. I was told to expect it the next week sometime, and it came the NEXT DAY. Like 26 hours after the order was placed. With free shipping. Sweet.

This compact clamp is made in the USA, VERY well built, small enough to fit in you pocket.
It allows a camera or camcorder that has a tripod mount, to be solidly attached to a table, car window, handlebar, skateboard, hand glider, tree branch, park bench, shopping cart, so on and so forth (you get the idea), using a standard 1/4"-20 threaded quick connect screw, just like any camera tripod. Strong enough for most cameras or camcorders, it attaches to either round or flat objects from 0" to 1.5" thick, with rubber on both sides of the clamp, it will not scratch or slip. It utilizes a ball and socket mount to allow the camera maximum flexibility in framing the subject.
